Our annual picnic meeting took place on Saturday, September 13, 2008 at the home of
KT5E way out east of Aurora! The weather was perfect and a great time was had by all!

A note from our president:

KE4YSK and I had a most enjoyable time at the CQC Club Picnic yesterday, Sept. 13, 2008. On behalf of everyone who attended, we would like to thank Jay, KT5E, and his lovely wife, Kristi, for hosting the picnic this year. Their home was an excellent site for the picnic. Jay's shack, rigs, and antennas also inspired awe and reverence from those in attendance. Yagi antennas at 100 feet feeding a K3 and a K2 sure do make great CW music. Dick, ABØCD, even had a QSO with an SP station while Al, KØFRP, was MC'ing the various contests.

Thanks again to Jay and Kristi for a great picnic.
