CQC Meeting
and Event Schedule
(Official meetings take place on Saturday):

For many years, before his passsing, Marshall Emm hosted our meetings at his place of business. After that, we made full use of various locations within the Arapahoe Library District up until the pandemic - very nice facilities but they just weren't home!   And, of course the pandemic eventually took its toll so we decided to eliminate our "Chat 'N Chew" informal gatherings and reduced our regular, official meetings to twice each year.   The idea being that we're open to reestablishing a more robust schedule and securing meeting spaces whenever volunteers want to step forward and move the club in that direction. Our next regular meeting will take place: on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at 11:00 am You don't have to be a member - everyone is welcome! This meeting will take place at our Field Day site before we start the 'test. If possible, we'll also connect by Zoom for the meeting. (In the past, our in-person meetings always ended with an optional luncheon at a nearby Metro area restaurant for chat, food, and fun!) Regular Meeting Information: Don't forget that you don't have to be a member to attend CQC meetings -- bring a friend, and bring your rigs and new projects. (For our in-person meetings, "talk-in" is available on the 145.460 [-600 KHz & 107.2 Hz Tone] repeater or 146.520 simplex - if needed, move off frequency to avoid congestion).

Weekly 2 Meter Net: Listen for WØCQC and the CQC Club Net on Monday evenings at 8 pm on the Colorado Repeater Association's 145.460 (-600, 107.2 Hz tone) machine.   The 145.460 machine is accessible throughout most of the Denver Metro area, including Boulder. There's also a 145.460 machine in Colorado Springs that allows access to our Denver area net. Plus, in the Denver area, the 145.145 machine remains the backup for any problems on the regular repeaters.   This is a REAL net, not just an announcement or check-net. Everybody gets to talk about what they've been doing and it's always interesting and fun!
